Mrs. Zimmerman- Spanish Teacher at Homer High School, Homer, NY
Through study abroad my students gain more knowledge not only about the beautiful people they meet and get to truly know, but also they learn so much about themselves! I have always believed that true peace with ourselves and the world we live in comes from understanding others. Language is the art of communication and study abroad enhances that communication to a depth I cannot teach in a classroom in up-state New York. So I strive to create more students that can share their experiences and compassion for others with others and in this way spread peace and tolerance! This is my way to touch the world!
